🔥 BODACIOUS Too funny not to share… Ol’ Bubba Dunn laid this one on me during my drive to work this morning: “That bull chased off more bull riders than fishing with a dip-net.” Bubba doesn’t have an accent. He ha 🔥 BODACIOUS Most people remember Bodacious for his size. James Andrews remembers his athleticism. "He was more athletic than any bull we'd ever seen." That's a remarkable statement coming from someone who spent his life around bucking 🔥 BODACIOUS Some people watched Bodacious from the stands. Bob Tallman watched him from the best seat in the house. As a Hall of Fame rodeo announcer, Bob has spent decades behind the microphone calling rides on the greatest bucking bulls the spo 🔥 BODACIOUS The 1992 PRCA & BRO World Champion and PBR co-founder Cody Custer didn't mince words. "Nobody wanted to draw that dang bull." Bodacious had become more than just another name on the draw sheet. He had become the opponent 🔥BODACIOUS ☕📚 A Day in the Life of the Writer 4:00 a.m. The house was quiet. My phone was quiet. The coffee was perking. By sunrise, there was already a full pot gone, homemade soup simmering on the stove, a load of laundry in the washer, pets 🔥BODACIOUS When I asked Tuff Hedeman what made Bodacious different, he didn't hesitate. "You didn't go back and look in the pens and ask, 'Is it him?' You knew exactly who he was. He was a freak of nature." That stuck with me. He didn 🔥 BODACIOUS One of the biggest surprises while researching Bodacious has been how often I hear the same thing. People who actually worked with him... hauled him... bucked him... and climbed on his back... rarely describe him as "mean." 🔥 BODACIOUS Most people remember what Bodacious did to the bull riders. 💡 I remember what the bull riders said about Bodacious. 🤠 Scott Breding has every reason in the world to hate that bull. At the NFR, Bodacious caught him under the chin wi 🔥 BODACIOUS “He was a big, scary sucker.” ⭐ Aaron Semas, retired bull rider ⭐ Now, that quote carries a little more weight when you know who said it. Aaron Semas spent years climbing on the rankest bulls in professional rodeo. He su 🔥BODACIOUS What do you get when you introduce a tough Cajun and a sixth-generation Texan? That apparently equals about ten hours of phone calls (so far)… and a kind of humor only people born, bred, and raised in the South truly understand.
